The Maintenance Log is an official document which constitutes the memory of the building. It must make it possible to trace the history of the building as well as all the operations carried out or to come on the building. This document contains the main physical and technical characteristics of the building.
It lists the various servicing, maintenance and warranty contracts. It provides for monitoring of future work under the asset management plan. It briefly establishes the procedures to be followed in the maintenance of each of these components, thus ensuring the optimization of their useful life. This document constitutes a source of credible references for current and future members of the board of directors of condominium associations in matters of transmission of knowledge and accessibility of information.
PlanGAB allows you to create the Maintenance Log in two steps:
- First, the platform uses the Reserve Fund Study to schedule major work. To do this, a Reserve Fund Study must be completed and then copied to the report on the actual data. The first part of the Maintenance Log will be taken from this last report.
- Secondly, a section is reserved for periodic work, ie those which come back at least once a year.
Once the Maintenance Log is complete, users can indicate the work performed and the actual costs. In addition, they can add unscheduled work and associated costs.
